Number of Russian students in British private schools rising

Updated: Jul 5, 2020

This month Talk Russian has teamed up with V and A Guardians Ltd, a company which facilitates applications made by students from abroad to study at schools and colleges in England. Once such applications are successful, V and A Guardians Ltd provides guardianship services and support throughout the student’s studies.

At a time when an increasing number of families from Russia and other countries of the former Soviet Union are looking to send their children to Britain to take advantage of highly reputable independent education, they would certainly benefit from tailor-made guardianship services to assist with this. Guardianship services are normally responsible for collecting students from airports, liaising with the school over their needs and looking after them during holidays.

We at Talk Russian often translate school and college progress reports into Russian so parents are aware of how well their child is doing and where special attention may be needed. We also provide Russian interpreters for families coming to the UK to attend a meeting with the school during the enrollment process so as to avoid any confusion and reach that important dialogue with the school.

Independent British education has a superb reputation for a reason, and while they say money can’t buy happiness, it can certainly give youngsters a head start in their future careers and play an important role in their development as hard-working individuals who were able to discover their aptitude and talents through a well-established education process.

A lot of students from Russia study at British boarding schools.
