Russia Midlands Business Club Helps Firms Export to Russia

The Russia Midlands Business Club is now running to help firms in Lincolnshire to develop or expand trade with Russia. The Club is the first of its kind outside London and is supported by the Wilson Organisation, UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) and the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce.

The Institute is one of the leading professional bodies for translators and interpreters in the UK and was granted a Royal Charter in July 2005.

Skype Russian Interpreting

Talk Russian, the UK-based Russian translation and interpreting company, is now providing telephone interpreting over the popular ‘Skype’ Internet phone service.

Yelena McCafferty, Talk Russian’s Translation and Interpreting Manager, said “We’ve been experimenting with Skype for English-Russian telephone interpreting for some time and our clients who have worked with us on the trial are delighted with it. The call quality is generally excellent and, of course, it’s cheaper than using regular fixed line calls”.
