Here is our easy-to-use guide to public holidays in Russia in 2020:

1st January to 8th January - New Year holiday season, with Russian Christmas celebrated on 7th January.

23rd February - Defender of the Fatherland Day. As it falls on a Sunday, the following Monday 24th February is also a day-off.

8th March – International Women’s Day. Again as this year it happens to be Sunday, Monday 9th March will not be a working day.

1st May to 5th May – May Day mini break.

9th May to 11th May – a long weekend to make Victory Day.

12th June – Russia Day.

4th November – National Unity Day.

Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas from Talk Russian!
